Job Type: Part-time (16 hours per week)
Salary: £10,500-£13,120pa dependent upon experience and initially on a 3-year contract

Flexible start date between June and late August

Are you inspired to share the gospel with children and families and equip them as disciples to live out their faith? Could you be our new Children and Families Worker?

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about enabling children and families to grow in a relationship with God and who is able to build on the foundation of an established children’s ministry. The post holder should be Christ-motivated, loving, creative, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and proven experience in Christian children’s ministry.

We have good relationships with many families through our long-standing children’s ministry activities and now have an exciting vacancy for a children and families worker who is enthusiastic about reaching more children and their families with the good news of Jesus Christ.

This role is to develop and grow the church’s mission to children and families helping them to experience faith and enjoy life within the body of the church family. We are looking for an evangelical Christian who will be a motivator and encourager, working with enthusiasm and initiative, leading and developing existing activities, innovating new strategies, and building loving pastoral relationships with children and families. The person appointed will be part of the staff team, working closely with the senior leader, the youth worker, elders, and trustees.
